Calculation Explanation - Heating

Heating
The amount of carbon produced from heating your house is relatively simple to calculate. What we do is take your heating bill and convert that into kWhs. 1 kWh is equivalent to 5p of your heating bill. Then we convert this into the amount of carbon using the formula that 1 kWh gives off 0.19kg of carbon.
